1 Long-term contracts and arrangements of Minister of Food.

Any sums required by the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food to fulfil any contracts or arrangements entered into by him, whether before or after the passing of this Act, in or in connection with the exercise of his functions as to food and animal feeding stuffs, including contracts or arrangements involving commitments extending beyond the financial year current when the contracts or arrangements were made, shall be paid out of moneys provided by Parliament.

2 Short title.

This Act may be cited as the Minister of Food (Financial Powers) Act 1949.
