1 Additional Lords of Appeal.

(1) . . . except in the event of the number of the Lords of Appeal in Ordinary being at any time less than seven, His Majesty shall not be advised to make an appointment to fill any vacancy among them unless the Lord Chancellor, with the concurrence of the Treasury, is satisfied that the state of business requires that the vacancy should be filled.
