§ 18612 - Restoration of laboratory directed research and development program

CHAPTER 161— DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY RESEARCH AND INNOVATION › SUBCHAPTER I— LABORATORY MODERNIZATION AND TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER

(a) Except as provided in subsection (b), the Secretary shall ensure that laboratory operating contractors do not allocate costs of general and administrative overhead to laboratory directed research and development.

(b) This section shall not apply to the national security laboratories with respect to which section 3119 [Fn: See References in Text note below.] of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2017 (Public Law 114–328) applies.
