§ 274i–4 - Definitions

CHAPTER 6A— PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICE › SUBCHAPTER II— GENERAL POWERS AND DUTIES

For purposes of this part:

(1) The term “organ” has the meaning given such term in section 121.2 of title 42, Code of Federal Regulations.

(2) The term “organ procurement organization” means a qualified organ procurement organization described in section 273(b)(1) of this title.

(3) The term “Organ Procurementand [Fn: So in original. Probably should be “Procurement and”.] Transplantation Network” means the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network established under section 274 of this title.
