§ 100102 - Organization

CHAPTER 1001— ITALIAN AMERICAN WAR VETERANS OF THE UNITED STATES

(a) Italian American War Veterans of the United States (in this chapter, the “corporation”), a nonprofit corporation incorporated in California, Connecticut, Florida, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island, is a federally chartered corporation.

(b) If the corporation does not comply with any provision of this chapter, the charter granted by this chapter expires.

In subsection (a), the words “organized and” and “the Nonprofit Corporation Acts of the States of” are omitted as unnecessary. The words “is a federally chartered corporation” are substituted for “is hereby recognized as such and is granted a charter” for consistency in the revised title and to eliminate unnecessary words.
