Section, acts June 7, 1897, ch. 3, § 1, 30 Stat. 79; Mar. 2, 1917, ch. 146, § 21, 39 Stat. 988, declared the settled policy of the Government to be opposed to the making of any appropriations whatever out of the Treasury of the United States for the education of Indian children in any sectarian school.
